This workshop aims to bring together experts from all stakeholders of road safety such as Policy Makers, Enforcement Agencies, Manufacturers, Researchers, Insurance Companies and more to share their knowledge and experience and to showcase the advancements made in the field of in-depth study of road accidents. We will also be sharing of mockup kiosk for a new driver licensing process that we are processing called as 3 Gate Licencing (3GL). This 3GL process includes testing for driver knowledge and physiological fitness to drive at Gate 1, simulator-based evaluation at Gate 2 and on-road evaluation at Gate 3. The testing framework of 3GL provides an objective way of measuring driver behaviour, their knowledge of road safety and driving etiquette to practice the learnt theory in a simulator and on-road driving conditions before getting a valid driving licence. We will also be launching a Train the Trainer (ToT) programme for school bus drivers to promote safe driving.
