Red Chariots Technologies Pvt. Ltd., founded in 2016, has the vision of creating a “road safety conscious society” to minimise accidents and ensure safer roads. The mission is to train individuals to be more sensitive and responsive in facing road challenges, enabling them to understand and follow safe driving measures to prevent accidents.
The parent company, Red Chariots Event Management and Marketing Pvt. Ltd., excels in crafting corporate events, global leadership conferences, product launches, and marketing strategies. Drawing on this expertise in event management, Red Chariots Technologies focuses on creating interactive and innovative edutainment solutions for learning road safety theory.
The training program extends beyond simulators, encompassing various tech-based interactive road safety training solutions. The technology experts and R&D team of Red Chariots develop all simulator hardware and software and other training solutions in-house.
2.1. Capacity Building and Driver Training
The training of drivers relies on a simulator-based training session emphasising “Unlearn, Relearn and Retain.” The program is designed to unlearn unsafe driving practices, relearn the best driving practices and retain the rules to become a skilled defensive driver.
In collaboration with Red Chariots Technologies Pvt Ltd, CoERS have trained 2,009 drivers in four districts in Tamil Nadu, primarily focusing on Chennai District. Their simulators are built with many real-life scenarios that serve as a hazard on actual roads.
The CoERS conducted a National Scientific Road Safety Conclave (NSRSC) on October 11, 2022. Red Chariots Technologies Private Limited rendered the technology support and required simulators. The program evaluated the driver’s road knowledge and vehicle handling capability in city traffic, highways, and rainy weather scenarios and provided tailored feedback about the driver’s strengths and weaknesses.
A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between CoERS and Red Chariots Technologies Private Limited on January 22, 2024, with delegates from Red Chariots Technologies Private Limited with the objective of knowledge sharing in driver and road user training, evaluation of driver skills and knowledge, and driving simulators for driving training to improve Road Safety.
