Chintan Shivir on Powered Two Wheelers Safety

July 4

Two-wheelers account for nearly 45% total road crash fatalities, with the majority of riders being young, working-class riders, making them the most vulnerable road users on Indian roads.

The Chintan Shivir on Powered Two-Wheeler Safety is a high-impact, multi-stakeholder convening designed to co-create a transformative action plan for enhancing two-wheeler safety in India. This initiative brings together key stakeholders including vehicle and safety device manufacturers, regulators, transport and enforcement authorities, road-owning agencies, healthcare providers, and major user groups. The Chintan Shivir will focus on collaborative innovation and policy alignment across three critical phases of road safety:

  • Pre-Crash
  • Peri-Crash
  • Post-Crash

Join us in shaping the future of two-wheeler safety through dialogue, innovation, and shared responsibility.
