AI For Road Safety Summit(2026)

February 16 @ 8:30 am - 10:30 am

India AI Impact Summit 2026

The AI for Road Safety session, organised as part of the India AI Impact Summit 2026, brings together policymakers, researchers, startup founders, and innovators to examine how Artificial Intelligence is being integrated into road safety governance in India.

With increasing mobility and complex traffic ecosystems, road safety requires structured, data-driven systems that support evidence-based decision-making. This session will present institutional AI platforms, national policy perspectives, and innovation-led approaches that demonstrate how technology can strengthen governance and improve safety outcomes.

The event is organized by the Centre of Excellence for Road Safety (CoERS), IIT Madras, in collaboration with the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) and the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India.
