Centre of Excellence for Road Safety (CoERS) established at RBG labs, IIT Madras acts as think tank and funded by Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, GOI. In addition, the centre advises and guides various stakeholders like State Governments and industry bodies in different aspects of road safety. The centre with multidisciplinary prospects works with principle of Integrated Systems approach on 4E’s (Engineering, Enforcement, Emergency & Education) to enhance Road Safety across the nation and globe in pledge to save lives.
We are looking for a passionate Road Safety Engineer who can study, analyse, asses the road parameters on field and remote.
Responsibilities
Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product managers and engineers.
Organize and analyse research findings for a better understanding of user insight.
Create user journeys and personas.
Assist in wireframing, sketching, prototyping, and creating user flows.
Identify and troubleshoot UX problems .
Requirements
Experience in using UX design best practices, and a good understanding of mobile-first and responsive design.
Be passionate about all things UX and other areas of design and innovation.
Having a user-centric mindset, being passionate about resolving user pain points through design.
Creative and analytical approach.
Attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively in a team setting.
Knowledge of design tools such as Adobe XD, Sketch, Zeplin, etc.
Portfolio is a must.
