Centre of Excellence for Road Safety (CoERS), RBG Labs, IIT Madras, is a think tank funded by the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, Government of India. We provide guidance and expertise to various stakeholders, including state governments and industry bodies, on all aspects of road safety. Utilizing a multidisciplinary approach, we adhere to the principle of an Integrated Systems approach, focusing on the 5E’s: Engineering, Enforcement, Emergency, and Education, bolstered by Empathy (Human Factors). What are we looking for in you: Server Engineer
Responsibilities:
- Ability to work in a cross-functional team and eager to learn and grow.
- Proficiency in configuring web servers such as Apache2, Nginx, and Gunicorn.
- Capability to ensure ongoing server health, updates, and maintenance; incident/issue isolation, troubleshooting, and resolution using diagnostic tools.
- Leadership skills to lead Server/Application Project work, monitor, and report on system metrics.
- Ability to maintain server/support documentation.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Capability to collaborate on projects and work independently when required
Eligibility:
- Proven experience of at least 3 years in VMware, vSphere, ESXi, vCenter Configuration, Operation, and Troubleshooting Windows and Linux Operating Systems.
- Proven knowledge of Windows Server and Ubuntu Nutanix system configuration, operations, and troubleshooting Citrix DaaS with on-prem.
- Knowledge of cloud delivery groups Veeam Backup with AWS integration QNAP NAS AWS (EC2, IAM, S3, Storage/File Gateways, Application Load Balancer, Network Load Balancer, Redshift, image management) Implementation, Operations, and Maintenance Windows AD administration and Group Policy management AzureAD and Domain Services configuration and management.
- Experience with Network Protocols such as TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, NTP, SMTP.Salary and other components
