Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IITM) and O.P. Jindal Global University (JGU) have partnered to create S.A.M.V.I.D. (Smart Assistant for Museum Visitors and Interactive Displays), an innovative semi-humanoid robot guide for India’s first Constitution Museum.
This project celebrates the 75th anniversary of the Constitution’s adoption.
The museum, located at JGU’s Sonipat campus, will open on November 26, 2024, marking Constitution Day. It will feature advanced AI-driven interactive displays, 3D installations, and comprehensive exhibits, offering an engaging exploration of India’s constitutional journey.
The robot, S.A.M.V.I.D., will provide guided tours, share detailed information on exhibits, and present profiles of Constituent Assembly members and their contributions.
