Centre of Excellence for Road Safety (CoERS) established at RBG labs, IIT Madras acts as think tank and funded by Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, GOI. In addition, the centre advises and guides various stakeholders like State Governments and industry bodies in different aspects of road safety. The centre with multidisciplinary prospects works with principle of Integrated Systems approach on 4E’s (Engineering, Enforcement, Emergency & Education) to enhance Road Safety across the nation and globe in pledge to save lives.
Responsibilities
Knowledge of multiple front-end languages and libraries (e.g., HTML/ CSS, JavaScript, XML, jQuery).
Knowledge of multiple back-end languages (Python – Flask, Sanic and FastAPI) and JavaScript frameworks (Angular, React, Node.js).
Familiarity with databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB), web servers (Apache2,Gunicorn) and UI/UX design.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills .
Great attention to detail.
Organizational skills.
Requirements
Programming experience using Frontend: HTML, CSS JavaScript, and jQuery .
Knowledge on Angular and React Framework is must.
Good Knowledge on backend application development using Python Flask and FAST API .
Building rich application user interfaces using popular JS frameworks and libraries, e.g., React Redux, Backbone .
Good experience with web frontend technologies, HTML5, CSS3, Webpack, LESS, Bootstrap, SASS.
Knowledge on Programming Interface API and different tools and libraries.
Sound knowledge on Postgres Database.
Hands on experience using GIT.
