About the Event
The Regional Manthan on Electronic Enforcement is a 2-day workshop bringing together state officials from Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Chhattisgarh to accelerate implementation of electronic enforcement and road safety initiatives on the ground.
Organised by the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) in partnership with MPPWD, the Bhopal Manthan is part of a national series of Regional Manthan sessions being rolled out across India.

CoERS Role
CoERS, IIT Madras has been actively involved in this initiative across multiple fronts — developing iRAD (eDAR), India’s national crash database; developing Sanjaya, the national crash intelligence platform; and playing a key role in drafting the SOP on electronic enforcement under Section 136A of the Motor Vehicles (Amendment) Act, 2019.
